Sandwich panels

5M manufactures bonded components including complicated tailor-made constructions. We have well-equipped workplaces and trained employees, and we guarantee top-quality and stable results. Bonded constructions proved high dimension and reproductive precision, and shape and dimension stability, which makes spare parts easily replacable.

Most of the bonded constructions are  with aluminium honeycomb core. These sandwiches are characterized by high strength, stiffness and very low weight at the same time. 5M produces honeycomb sandwiches in the form of flat or spatially shaped panels with various types of ending, with pasted elements for further assembling and many other types.

Very interesting alternative to classic aluminium sandwich panels represent composite sandwich panels. In this material is combined glassfiber (carbonfiber) as cover sheet and Nomex honeycomb as core. This composition assure extra low weight and possibility to glue into panel any insert, reinforcement, edges etc. Our production technology allows to produce spatial shaped panels.

 Due to our experiences and longterm innovative strategy we obtained award "Innovation of the year 2008" from Association of Innovative. The award concerns our accurate sandwich panels for building of radiotelescopes.
